Open PhD position: modelling the ecological impact of fertilizer use in agriculture

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated PhD student to join our team contributing to the EJP-Soil project ICONICA. Our research focuses on land-management solutions for carbon neutrality and reduced environmental impacts of agriculture in Europe and elsewhere.
The PhD student will explore how different phosphorus management practices affect soils, crop yields, and greenhouse gas fluxes using a combination of models and unique data from long-term field trials. The 3 year project at the Laboratoire des sciences du climat et de l'environnement is fully-funded and located in the new research & innovation cluster plateau de Saclay, near Paris.
